Forgiveness

I couldn’t resist to share my sentiments with you all, so , even when I have my physics exam tomorrow, I hereby write a poem with all my anguish in it.

It’s still him in my mind
And in my heart,
That is wretched and wrecked.
It’s subtle
Wondering why it’s him
Just him in my mind still.
He troubles me in my sleep
My studies are agitated.
His memories make me weep,
And stab my heart till deep.
But then again, foolishly
My heart believes,
That one day he’ll run into me
And forever remain with me.
My mind defy this muck
And reminds me of the pain I suffer
Every moment , everyday.
It says, being stern,
If he was concerned
Then why had he left
Leaving me bereft
Of ecstasy that I deserved.
A persistent battle goes on,
Between my heart and mind,
I favour one and the other wins over
Leaving me perplexed, like a rover.
I act oblivious to the agony
I underwent ,
Just to forgive and earn him
In the end.
