Endings Begin

Everything begins to end in end.
Therefore, it is said
Things that started
Will surely end.
But now I doubt,
My faith goes stout
I find myself in a bout.
It’s him I’m talking about.

He disappeared all of a sudden,
As if he were a dream
Such an abrupt change it was
That made me annoyance – ridden.
I loved his smile.
It was just a while
That I walked a mile
To make the two roads pile.

I wanted to confess
What my heart had for him.
I desired to see more of his
Charming moves he did to impress.
But, he was long gone now
And I had to find him somehow.
So I took another vow
To search for him, anyhow.

Hah! Later some days,
I found him again.
Oh, not my efforts
But the luck I gained.
Yes, it became impossible for me
To accept this void, though for time wee.
Of course, god will demand for fee,
You may take my life, but not him, for free!

Hey.
I’m sorry for not being consistent in posting stuff. My exams are over now and my mind is at the stage of rest. I’m unable to write anything these days but I forced this poem out of my heart. I hope you’ll like it.
