I Too Can Be Sensitive

They believe I’m hard at core,
But my heart is a lovely store.
They’re unaware of my ekht side.
Sometimes,  I too am shy.

They think I can handle all hurdles
That I don’t like hugs and cuddles.
But I too am a person striving for love.
Besides, have myriad of unsolved struggles.

They think I never cry
I’m independent and satisfied .
But who knows I’m sensitive enough
And need a shoulder to lean on.

I’m in need of a tight hug
A silent conversation that has no bounds.
I too love playing and doing bad stuff.
Often get trapped in any kind of bluff.

Don’t just judge a book by it’s cover
I might seem stern and bold.
But if you try to explore me once
You’ll find, in depths the kindness I hold.
